教材分析:《学英语》第七册教材分为四个单元,Lesson 19处于第三单元前半部分,这课书是典型的对话型阅读教学课文,它的语言内容与前面已学过的季节、衣服、天气等知识紧密相连,并且给我们侧面展示了澳大利亚冬天的场景以及人们的风俗习惯。
教学目标:

Step 1、Class opening and review.

What are you wearing?

(设计意图:把学过的句型与我们的实际相联系,在情境中使用英语,会使语言更赋真实性。游戏可以消除学生的紧张感,在游戏中复习了inside, outside两个单词,为新课做了铺垫。)
Step 2、New concept
1、New words and ntences.
T:Look at this word : "mittens". “i” is pronounced [i],“tten” is pronounced [tn],can you read it?
S: Yes.….
T: We can call mitts. Read “mitts”.
T: Look at another word. Can you read it?
S: Yes,we can.….
T: Do you know the other words with “ar”?
S: Yes. Car, far , farm, arm…
Drill: mittens(mitts), scarf
(设计意图:教授学生一些语音知识,可以帮助学生记忆单词;新旧词汇结合来学,有利于学生自己总结一些语音规律。)
T: Do you wear mitts and scarf?
S: No.
T: Let’s put on our mitts and scarf.
I’m putting on my mitts and scarf. Why? Becau I’m cold.

T: Let’s take off our mitts and scarf.

(设计意图:安排这个练习,会使学生感到十分有趣,激发他们对此课的兴趣,同时又可以在游戏中复现新词汇,培养听的能力。)
Activity2:Let’s “Dress up”.
(设计意图:学生喜欢做游戏,在游戏中学习,会使晦涩的语言变得生动有趣。带领学生在游戏中反复复现所学新词汇及句型,会加深学生印象,新旧知识混合,会使知识变得更系统。)

(设计意图:这样可以帮助学生了解课文,培养他们听、读的能力, 增加语言的输入量,让学生听到原汁原味的英语。)

教学反思:本课的话题是“丹妮的冬装”,围绕这一主题,我设计了一系列活动,力求让学生在真实的情境中兴致勃勃地学到四会知识,在有趣的游戏教学中运用自己掌握到的内容。莫等闲的意思
小学生的抽象记忆力比较弱,而形象记忆力能力比较强,而且他们对生动的图片的兴趣远
远大于对文字的兴趣。因此,在教学单词的过程中,我充分运用了多媒体课件、图片、肢体语言等教学手段,让学生直观感知单词,并通过语音知识的传授,使学生牢记单词的读音,为后面学习课文打好了坚实的基础。
这节课的新授词汇及句型并不太难,只要给学生做出手势,他们即能明白,所以关键在单词及句型的操练上,我设计了多个环节,让学生在活动中运用所学词汇,在句子中体会单词的用法,在课文中体会句子的用法。
当然,这节课还有某些细节需要改进。比如:教单词mittens时,我可以先出示gloves这一单词,这样可以让学生知道两个单词的异同点。而且,由于一堂课的时间有限,整堂课中读的练习少一些,我在设计教学思路时也忽略了读的环节。多读可以帮助学生形成语感,那么我们在教学中应重视读的练习,我也应在平时教学中让学生多读英语句子及篇章。

语言学习中遗忘是最大的敌人,只有通过不断的再现才能帮助学生形成持久的记忆。这节课教师首先在导入阶段通过巧妙的提问为学生创设出语境,帮助学生复习以往学过的句子。其次在练习put on ______
take off_______ 句型时反复复习了以往学过的表示季节、天气、服装和颜色的单词,句型,帮助学生将以往的知识融会贯通。
2、单词教学渗透发音规律
对于六年级的学生来讲,已经形成了一定的逻辑思维能力,对一些规律性的东西有初步的探索和理解力。因此在小学高年级阶段渗透给学生发音规律对学生识记单词能起到事半功倍的作用。
