1、恶劣环境
(1)一到晚夏,池塘就会被绿色的起泡浮渣覆盖。有时候,池塘里冒出一阵强烈的难闻的味道。In late summer, the pond would be covered by a green and bubbly scum(起泡的浮渣). Sometimes a strong, unpleasant smell ro from it.

Besides, it’s hard telling what’s in there.” “Then you start back.” said William, handing the edlings to Rebecca. I’ll catch up.” He ran to the dugout and stepped inside.
