摘要：1429744 Tipping bins into refu vehicles R H BURGESS 1 April 1974 14297/74 Heading B8E Hydraulically operated mechanism for lifting a bin 25 and tipping it into a hopper 10 of a refu vehicle compris lifting arms 12 pivotally mounted on the vehicle and pivoted at the outer ends to plates 131, the arms and plates being respectively joined by lifting rails 14, 141 engageable with a sloping plate 26 and vertical flanges 27 of the bin 25. The bin may be locked to the lifting arms by a hook 29 actuated by a lever 30 to engage a rail 28. The plates 13 at their upper ends are connected by links 16 and bell-cranks 17 to the arms 12 while the actuating rams 15 engage the middle of the plates 13. On extension of the rams 15 the arms 12 ri holding the bin vertical as rollers 18 on the cranks 17 run up a cam surface 20 until the position of Fig. 2 is reached and the roller 18 reaches the top flat surface of the cam and further ram extension pivots the arms to invert and empty the bin. Stops 23, 24 limit the arm movement.
