Important Notice: If the relevant standard is not specified, then the ball pressure test is carried out according to IEC 60695-10-2. The following test procedure is bad on EN 60335-1 with reference of IEC 60695-10-2.
4. Specimens：试样
Specimens thickness should ≥ 2.5 mm with approximately parallel upper and lower surfaces is obtained. Using two or more ctions of the material under test is allowed.
试样上下平面要平齐，厚度≥2.5mm，允许两层或多层试样重叠在一起
5. Preconditioning预处理
Before starting the test, the material under test is conditioned for 24h in an environment having
a temperature between15°C and 35°C and relative humidity between 45% and 75%.
试验之前，被试部件在温度为15°C ~35°C，相对温度45%~75%的环境中放置24小时
6.Test Procedure：试验程序
6.1 Turn on the power supply of the oven
接通烘箱电源
6.2. Mount a parate thermocouple in the centre of the test specimen support approximately 3 mm
below the surface to check that the temperature of the test specimen support does not
significantly deviate from the test temperature.
在试样支承座的中心下大约3 mm 布上一热电偶，测量支承座的温度。
6.3 Set the required temperature on the controller of the oven. Conduct the test in air, within a

6.4 When thermal equilibrium conditions are reached, place the test specimen on the approximate
centre of the test specimen support so that its upper surface is horizontal. Gently lower the
pressure ball on to the approximate centre of the test specimen. Ensure that no conditions exist that will cau the pressure ball to move other than in a downward direction during the test.
The installation of the test specimen shall be performed in as short a time as practicable to
ensure that there is no significant temperature drop of the heating oven and test specimen

将试样如下图快速放在试样支承座的中心，轻轻将球压装置放在试样的中心上表面，球压装置的球面部分应以20N的力压向这一表面，见图1。整个过程应该尽量迅速，确保球压装置和烘箱的温度没有明显变化。

6.5. After the specimen has been heated at the required temperature for 60 min + 2 min/0 min,
remove the pressure ball from the test specimen and within 10 s immer the test specimen in water maintained at 20 °C ± 5 °C. Following an immersion period of 6 min ± 2 min remove the
test specimen from the water and eliminate all traces of water.
（ Note: For IEC 61558-1 and IEC 60598-1 ,the requirement is different ; it shall be removed from the oven and immediately immerd in cold water for 10s.）
试样在要求温度下加热60 min + 2 min/0 min之后，将试样从烘箱内取出并在10秒内置于20 °C ± 5 °C中冷却6min± 2 min，将试从水中取出擦干。
（注：对于IEC61558-1和IEC60598-1标准，要求有些差异。试样要求立即从烘箱中取出放入冷水中冷却10秒）
7. Evaluation of Test Results 结果评估

8. Maintenance 维护
8.1 After each test the Ball Pressure Test Apparatus shall be cleaned using a clean dry cloth, After
cleaning.
每次试验后用干布清理球压装置.
8.2 Clean the oven at least once a month.
每个月清理一次烘箱
