摘要：PURPOSE: To facilitate the mounting of a aling strip by forming rivet means integrally with at least one of the members of a vehicle along an opening to be aled, and mounting the aling strip on the rivet means. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle door has an open edge part 14 comprising a metallic inner sill panel 18 and an outer sill panel 20 made of reinforced plastics for preventing corrosion. The door 22 compris a metallic inner panel 24 and an outer panel 26 made of reinforced plastics. In order to al an opening 28 between the bottom of such a door 22 and the top of the outer sill panel 20, a slender aling strip 12 comprising a ba part 30 rving as a mounting ction and an annular aling part 32 is provided. In this ca, the aling strip 12 is cured by a number of rivet means 36 formed integrally with an interior wall 16 to which the flange part 18a of the inner sill panel 18 is cured.
