我准备好了I was walking along the road to school one day and I met my friend Raine. He suggested that we skip school and go to the movies. I refud as my dad was very fierce and strict. After much persuasion, I gave in. There was a Will Smith movie on and I was a fan.
So we t off to the movies together, bought our tickets, popcorn and drinks and ttled down comfortably. As we were early, the lights were still on. We watched people come in groups, families and there were couples too. Some of them looked like school students playing truant(逃学)like us. As I turned around, I caught a glimp of my uncle Andy and

I signaled to Raine that there was someone I didn’t want to e and Raine made it more obvious by turning around and asking “Who? And where?” loudly. It made me sit even lower in my at.
沈先生顾夫人To make things wor, they came and sat in the row behind us and were saying to each other how I would have loved to come to this movie as I adored Will Smith. They were even commenting about the students playing truant. Soon the movie began and I was glad when the lights were turned off but I didn’t enjoy the movie at all for fear of being spotted. So, I sat there like an astronaut, peering over the front at.
Every now and then I would cretly take a quick look at my aunt and uncle. I was sure they were also looking at me. Feeling nervous and anxious, I kept wondering how I could leave the cinema without being noticed.恋爱夏天

“Number 7, Jobie Nymble, takes the lead,” cried the announcer. “Just one more hurdle (跨栏) and-Jobie Nymble from Riverside Middle School takes first place in the girls’ 100-meter hurdles!”
“County championships, here we come.” yelled Jobie, patting (轻拍) her worn green track spikes (钉鞋). They were her lucky shoes and she loved them. “Next Saturday, we’re taki
ng the gold home,” Jobie whispered to her spikes.
“Don’t forget, guys.” said Marisol, one of her teammates. “My birthday party is next Friday at Hidden Park. You should all come.”
The day of Marisol’s party came. Jobie put on her favorite clothes: her blue shorts, an old track T-shirt, and her lucky spikes. The party had begun when Jobie arrived at Hidden Park. She stopped by the track first, planning to do some running exerci. Even at that end of the park, music and the smell of grilled food filled the air.
Two of Jobie’s teammates rushed toward her, breathless and barefoot. “Come on,” they shouted. “You have to try the slide.” Jobie’s eyes shot toward the party area. “Slide? What sli ...?”
Suddenly, she saw it. The BIGGEST inflatable (充气的 ) slide she had ever en was on the far side of the park. Smiling kids zoomed down the slide at unspeakable speeds.
Without thinking twice, Jobie threw off her spikes and ran fast toward the slide. Its ladder
ro to the sky, but she reached the top in no time. She slid down, sped to the edge, and clod her eyes as she let go. Jobie couldn’t get enough fun from the slide.
When it was finally time to go home, she unwillingly made her way back to the track where she’d left her shoes. As she eyed the area from a distance, panic t in. Jobie picked up the pace, her heart pounding louder the clor she got. When she reached the place she’d left them. her heart stopped.
