John Lennon is one of the most complex individuals on the earth. The Britishborn musician is a true international image who influenced the world with his message of peace and love. In America, Lennon is one of the most loved people to ever call the United States home.
Born and raid in Liverpool, as a teenager Lennon became interested in jazz. His first band, the Quarrymen, developed into the Beatles in 1960，and then he became one of the founding members of this international super group. He, along with Paul McCartney, formed
the early creative band that changed music in the world. When the group disbanded in 1970, Lennon took up a solo career that produced the popular albums John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band and Imagine, and popular songs such as Give Peace a Chance and Working Class Hero.
Lennon was one of the founding members of the international super group, the Beatles. The group's success has never been copied, and its music is as popular today as it was in the 1960s and 1970s.
苦笑不得Lennon wrote, or cowrote some of the most memorable tunes ever written in the Rock‘n’Roll genre.He found great success as a member of the Beatles, which is the most commercially successful group in history, and as a solo artist，Lennon was also a political activist. His views on religion and politics caud great deal of controversy in the United States. He was an outspoken critic of the country's involvement in the Vietnam conflict. His popularity caud great concern with government officials becau he had the attention of the young people in America at the time.
Lennon had been living in New York for veral years, where he was being watched by the FBI, who wanted to find grounds to drive him away from the United States. He spread his words of peace in different ways and gained great popularity among people. Lennon was killed on December 8, 1980 by a crazy gunman outside his home in New York City. Today a memorial board at the site of his death is one of the most visited sites in the country.

Joph Haydn(1732－1809)was an Austrian compor and is known as “the father of the symphony〞. Other compors had written symphonies before Haydn，but he changed the symphony into a long piece for a large orchestra.
He was born in a village in Austria，the son of a peasant①.
