摘要：PURPOSE:To promote the improvement of heat insulation, wearing resistance, heat resistance, mechanical strength, etc., by forming a cylinder liner in such a manner that a part between a metallic inner cylinder and outer cylinder is filled with a dust material of ceramics. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder liner, filling a cavity part 4 between a cast iron made inner cylinder 1 and a cast iron made outer cylinder 2 concentrically arranged with the inner cylinder with a dust material 5 of ceramics, clos bottom and upper end parts to be blocked by a bottom cover plate 3 and an upper cover plate 6. By this constitution, the cylinder liner, eliminating the necessity for connecting the ceramics with a metal and facilitating the manufacture further generating an air gap in the periphery of the ceramic dust material to improve a heat insulating effect, also improves heat resistance, wearing resistance, etc.
