debate本课为人教版新课标必修四Unit 2 Working the Land 盗汗的原因中Using language部分Chemical or Organic Farming? 本单元的中心话题是“农业”,本节课是本单元的第二篇阅读课。内容主要讲述在上半个世纪中,农民更多的是使用化肥进行农业耕种,他们认为这样做可以增产和抵制庄稼病虫害。但是科学家们发现长期的使用化肥会对土地甚至人类的健康带来破坏性的影响。随后,一些农民开始采用各种方法进行土地的有机耕种,并认识到有机耕种的益处。学生通过阅读和讨论了解有关化肥危害和有机耕种的知识,同时运用这些知识关注有机农业,注重健康。通过观看视频、阅读文章和角色扮演等方式提高学生的学习兴趣,从而培养学生的阅读和口头表达能力。

本次赛课与我合作的是高二年级,高二学生的智力发展趋于成熟。他们的认知能力相比初中阶段有了进一步的提高,渐渐形成了用英语获取信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题
的能力。他们学习英语的方法由死记硬背型转向理解型,并能把所学运用到交际中,他们有自己的学习策略和技能,能把语言学习与现实生活和兴趣联系起来。通过任务型课堂活动和学习,学生的学习自主性会得到提高,不再认为英语的课堂学习很枯燥,愿意主动参与到课堂中,成为课堂的主体。但是由于学生的水平参差不齐,有些差距还相当大。为此,在教学过程中,我会提前引导学生过一遍本篇文章的重难点词汇。其次,在题目的设置上,通过选择、填空、讨论等方式来调节题目难度系数,这样就可以兼顾各个层次的学生,使他们都有所收获。

Step 1. Lead-in ( 5 mins )
1. Show the students two kinds of tomatoes and ask them which one they prefer.
2. Tell the students the bigger one is chemical tomato and the smaller one is organic tomato.

4. Show some key words and expressions related to this passage to the students.
