摘要：PURPOSE:To minimize the space for installation with an arrangement in which a suspension fitting does not project from the side face of the main body by attaching the suspension fitting on the chamfered face at part of the corner ction of two side faces which interct mutually at right angle of the main body of a suspension type outdoor machine of a parate type air conditioner. CONSTITUTION:In the inside of the main body 9 of a suspension type outdoor machine a L-shaped heat exchanger 12 has been received. On the two side faces 10a and 10b of the main body 9 which interct mutually at right angle air take-out ports 11a and 11b are provided which are opposite to the heat exchanger. On the chamfered face 18 at the corner ction of the main body 9 a suspension fitting 21 of L-shape comprid of a vertical piece 19 and holding piece 20 is fixed. Further, on the other end side of the side face 10b of the main body 9 a suspension fitting 21a is also fixed, and on both sides of the side face 10c suspension fittings 21b and 21c are fixed as well. Conquently a suspension bolt 27 suspended from a slab on the ceiling face of a building is pasd through the hole 28 of a holding piece 26 for the suspension fittings 21, 21a, 21b, and 21c and fixed. With this arrangement after the main body 9 is suspended, a bolt cover 22 is fixed on the chamfered face 18. Accordingly as a
result space for installation which is superfluous becomes unnecessary.
