3.Normally the A-measure is calculated automatically from the distance between the overlapped profile and the intercting profile. In the Extended Bracket Handling the details about the connection of the bracket to the intercting profile are controlled by the customer t-up. However, a clearance can be introduced between the bracket and the intercting profile (e M1 below).
A, C, CK:
The brackets stop against the flange of the panel, unless a stiffener on the panel is explicitly given.
Cutouts will be made automatically for all stiffeners, pasd by the bracket.

For C and CK, the A-measure can be given in input provided it gives an overlap in the range 50-150 mm.
L:
This bracket stops against the clost intercting stiffener irrespective of side. For details about the "connection", e below
All other brackets will go against the clost intercting profile and this is found automatically.

The bracket parameter C is always calculated automatically (when relevant) according to the Design Standards or as t-up by the customer in the Extended Bracket Handling. <length_C>::= <number>
If given, C must be smaller than the automatically calculated value.
Remark:
For the bracket types A, C and CK, Hull Modelling will automatically switch to a bracket alternative with a notch R75 at edge c if C > 180 (i.e. COR=2->3 and 3->6, respectively).
