The heavy stone in my heart finally fell to the ground.I was so relieved to hear from my father. Having learnt that he was safe,I burst into tears. It was at that moment that I had a full understanding of the importance of a curfew.Since then,I have been insisting on checking in! For me,it’s about knowing that someone I love is safe.It is also one more proof of my father’s loving me as much as he does.
