《毁灭》英文读后感
After finishing the book "The Death of Mr. Darcy," which is a retelling of Jane Austen's classic "Pride and Prejudice," I felt a n of sadness and loss. The author, Sharon Lathan, had taken beloved characters from a beloved novel and twisted them into unrecognizable versions of themlves.
平等互利As I read, I felt my heart ache for poor Mr. Darcy, who had been reduced to a shell of the man he once was. The once proud and rerved gentleman had been rendered emotionally unstable and weak, unable to cope with the loss of his beloved wife. His cousin, Colonel Fitzwilliam, fared no better, succumbing to alcoholism and despair after losing his own wife and child.
教师的爱The story was dark and depressing, devoid of the wit and humor that made "Pride and Prejudice" such a joy to read. The author had taken the characters we loved and put them through unimaginable pain and suffering. It was as if someone had taken a beautiful painting and splattered it with black paint, completely obliterating its beauty.
