STANAGE EDGE
Popular with rock climbers，this stone cliff marks the boundary of the mysterious land of the Dark Peak cliff and the grasscovered flat land of White Peak.It's a six miles circular walk from Hathersage.Alternatively，park at the Hollin Bank Car Park and climb half a mile to the top，out of breath.
CHATSWORTH ESTATE
A threemile circle from Calton Lees Car Park takes in a ruined factory，the pretty village of Edensor and views of Chatsworth Hou.Appreciate the stretch along the River Derwent—deer often hang out there.

B．E.A.C.O.N.
Fifteenyearold Hannah Herbst's5岁 invention，which stands for Bringing Electricity Access to Countries through Ocean Energy，was inspired by her pen pal who lives in Ethiopia and did not have access to lights.So she came up with B．E.A.C.O.N.，which absorbs energy directly from ocean waves.Her invention won the“Discovery Education 3M Young Scientist Challenge”in 2015 and numerous other awards.
Portable Wheelchair Controller
At only eight years old，Amelia Fox created the invention to help lift people in and out of their wheelchair.This invention was not just born out of the desire to create something.Amelia developed this controller for her brother，who had just got hip surgery and needed the wheelchair to move around.
