Let Ss read a conversation and answer some questions.

Read and underline the questions and statements that ask for information.

Step 1: Leadin
建议1: 在黑板上挂一幅能反映出十二个月份的挂历, 或在课件中展示出一幅挂历。教师介绍月份单词并领读;学生一边观看, 一边跟读。
For example: 运气英语
T: Class! Look at the calendar.How many months are there?
Ss: Twelve.
T: Can you read every month? Look at the first month.How to read?
In this way, teach the students to read the words of each month.Ask the students to read after the teacher.
建议2: 教师询问学生一年中有多少月份, 分别是哪些月份。出示月份卡片, 展示单词并教读, 让学生边看边读。
For example:
T: Class! How many months are there in a year?
Ss: There are twelve.
T: What are they? Can you read them out?
Then the teacher shows the cards of each month to the class.Let the students try to read the words.See if the students can read the words correctly.
By this way, teach the words of twelve months.
建议3: 让学生观看一段月份的视频动画, 教师向学生提出要求——让学生一边观看, 一边注意十二个月份单词的发音。
For example:
T: Class! Let's watch a video.
Ss: That's great!
T: But I have a question for you.What's the video about?
Then play the video for the class.

Next, show the words of twelve months.Teach the students to read the words.The students read after the teacher.
Step 2: Listen and repeat
建议1: 教师让学生听1a的录音磁带, 一边听, 一边注意十二个月份单词的发音。然后跟读录音。
For example:
T: Class! Let's read after the tape.Pay attention to the pronunciations of each month.
Then the students read the words of each month while they are listening to the tape.Repeat this reading for two or three times.
建议2: 听磁带, 跟读录音后, 让学生以小组为单位, 开展朗读比赛。看哪一组读得又对又快! 给读得又对又快的小组发小红旗、五角星等奖品。
T: Class! Let's have a reading competition among each group, OK? See which group can read the twelve months more correctly and more quickly!
First let each group prepare it for veral minutes, then start the competition.In the end, award the groups which did better.
Step 3: Prent 1b
