This lesson is titled “Ancient Chine Inventions”, in which students will have a better understanding of the four great inventions of ancient China. They have left behind a magnificent chapter in the history of human science and culture, benefiting the whole world and promoting the development of human history. Students will naturally receive some moral education, knowing the significance of the spirit of the craftsman and how to cultivate it. Carrying forward the spirit and inheriting traditional culture is vital to the growth of them. I will adopt activities and advocate experience and participation to highlight the dominant role of the students in class. |

Most of them are familiar with the inventions of ancient China, but they may not realize the significance of carrying forward the spirit of the craftsman and inheriting traditional culture. Meanwhile, they are not good at information-gathering and they may feel challenged to take an active part in activities for lack of vocabulary, so necessary help should be provided to get over the difficulties. Students are easily bored with a long passage, so their interest should constantly be aroud through various activities. |
