A：
①引导让步状语从句，二者可以互换。

■注意：1）上述让步状语从句均含有“条件”的意味。2）“ 疑问词 + ever”引导名词性从句时或wherever引导地点状语从句时，均可设计成含有定语从句的复合句；3）“疑问词 + ever”表示加强语气时意为“到底，究竟”；4）在“疑问词 + ever”和“no matter+ 疑问词”引起的状语从句中经常会用到情态动词may或might。
