摘要：
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle detector, having a simple
constitution and high accuracy for temperature variations or change due to aging of the
rotation angle detector, capable of detecting the rotation angle exceeding 360 degrees.
SOLUTION: Ideal value θ1r of a first operational value θ1 is calculated, on the basis of the first operational value θ1 monotonously increasing in the input angle range, exceeding 360 degrees and a cond operational value θ2 of a plurality of periodic waveforms of plural number of times in an input angle range of 360 degrees. A function value, regarding the shift amount between the ideal value θ1r and the first operational value θ1, on the basis of the ideal value θ1r of the first operational value θ1 and the first operational value θ1, is calculated. The first operational value θ1 is corrected, on the basis of the function value of the shift amount to obtain a corrected first operational value θ1', and an output angle θo is calculated, on the basis of the acquired corrected first operational value θ1' and the cond operational value θ2.
