4. as soon as 意为“一…就…”,引导时间状语从句,若主语用一般将来时,从句用一般现在时表将来;若主句用过去式,从句也要用过去时。

5.hold out 意为“伸出;递出”。
I held out my hand to catch the box. 我伸出手去接那个盒子。
6. shake hands 意为“握手”,表达“与某人握手”用 shake hands with sb.。
