hurry有三种用法，做及物动词、不及物动词和名词。
hurry做及物动词时常在hurry+sb. to do sth.的结构中出现；
hurry做不及物动词时的搭配是hurry to do sth；
纵酒狂歌hurry做名词是常用在in a hurry的固定搭配中。
hurry:
n. 匆忙,急忙,急促
v. 催促,匆忙,赶快
1. hurry做及物动词时常在hurry+sb. to do sth.的结构中出现；
The saleman hurried the customer to make a choice.
售货员催促顾客做出选择。
现在英语中这种用法很少见了，常用结构：hurry sb into/to doing sth

他们催他上医院.
Rachel hurried him to his bed.
雷切尔催着他上了床。
She was hurried into making an unwi choice.
她在催逼之下作出了不明智的选择。
I was hurried into making an unwi decision. 我在催逼之下草率地作出了不明智的决定。
2. hurry做不及物动词时的搭配是:
责备反义词hurry to do sth；
hurry to sth;
The kids hurried to open their prents.
孩子们急忙打开礼物。
白羊男和处女女They hurried to catch their bus.
他们匆忙地去赶公共汽车。
Don't hurry to make a conclusion before eing the whole of it.

英语口语中hurry可与and及所连接的另一个动词连用，而不和to所引导的不定式连用，尤用于告诉某人快点干某事：Hurry and open your prent─I want to e what it is!
Hurry up and get dresd. 赶快穿好衣服。
3.名词用法
in a hurry迅速；赶快；仓促；匆忙
in a hurry to do sth急于做某事
in no hurry (to do sth)
not in a/any hurry (to do sth)
有足够的时间，不着急（做某事）；不想，不情愿（做某事）
You make mistakes if you do things in a hurry.
如果你匆匆忙忙地做事，那你就要出差错。
He was in a hurry to leave.
他急切地要离开。
Kate was in a hurry to grow up, eager for knowledge and experience.
凯特急于长大，渴望获取知识和经验。
In his hurry to leave, he forgot his passport.
他急急忙忙动身的时候, 忘了带护照.
I'm in no hurry to e him again.

We were in no hurry to get back to work after the holiday.
