设计意图:通过师生之间问答的方式,复习上节课所学内容,并自然地引入新课的学习。
环节2 学习2a-2e
1.让学生朗读2a方框中的词汇,并理解其意思。然后让学生小组合作,练习利用方框中的词汇谈论熊猫。
2.教师讲解2b方框中的阅读技巧—略读,让学生掌握略读的方法。
3.让学生利用略读的技巧,迅速浏览2b的短文,在文中找出题目里的数字并理解其意思。
4.让学生先浏览2c下面的几个问题,明确阅读目标,然后再细读一遍文章,回答2c中的问题。
5.学生和教师一起阅读文章,全面理解文章的内容。学生将不明白的句子提出来,教师予以讲解。然后全班一起核对2b和2c的答案。
6.让学生浏览2d的句子,理解其意思,然后从2b的短文中找出与之意思相同的句子。学生对比句子,利用文中的单词将2d中的句子补充完整。教师核对答案。
7.将学生分为两大组,讨论“学生能帮助拯救熊猫的其他办法”,并做好笔记。然后两组比赛,看谁的办法又多又好。
8.要点点拨。
(1)Scientists say there are now fewer than 2,000 pandas living in the forests.
There is/are sb./sth.doing sth.为固定句式,意为“某人/某物正在做某事”。例:There’ are children flying kites on the square.孩子们正在广场上放风筝。
(2)Adult pandas spend more than 12 hours a day eating about 10 kilos of bamboo.
【辨析】spend、pay、take与cost
①spend的主语是人,常用结构:spend time/money on sth.在某事上花费时间/金钱;spend time/money(in)doing sth.花费时间/金钱做某事。②pay的主语是人,常用结构:pay(sb.)money for sth.付钱(给某人)买某物;pay for sth.付某物的钱,赔偿某物。③take常用it作形式主语,句型:It takes/took sb.+时间+to do sth.做某事花了某人多少时间。④cost的主语是物,句型:st(sb.)+金钱,表示“某物花了(某人)多少钱”。
