摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing apparatus which improves consistency of sheets and quality of a sheet bundle by supplying sheets to a sheet supplying tray without collision with an adjustment member even in a type of sheet that lateral dislocation is not adjusted.SOLUTION: A sheet processing apparatus 500 compris transporting rollers 511-514 transporting sheets N along with a transportation path 520, a lateral dislocation detection nsor 577 which is arranged on the transportation path 520 and detects lateral dislocation in the sheets N, a shift unit 580 adjusting the lateral dislocation in the sheets, a sheet supplying tray 701 on which the sheets N supplied from the transportation path are loaded, and an adjusting part which is arranged on the sheet supplying tray 701 and compris a pair of adjusting plates 711a, 711b which move between a waiting position and an adjustment position and respectively contact to both ends of the sheets N at the adjustment position. In a ca that sheet N is a sheet of a type who lateral dislocation is not adjusted, the adjustment part ts the distance between the adjusting plates 711a, 711b at the waiting position longer than a ca of a sheet of a type who lateral dislocation is adjusted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
