Then the coordinates of the cursor 21 are supplied to a syntax structure tree current point positioning part 19 from the part 18. Thus the part 19 is started. Thus the part 19 obtains the minimum one of plural rectangular frames enclosing the cursor position and shown on a real screen bad on the cursor position coordinates held by the part 18, the display syntax structure tree range shown by a display syntax structure tree range holding part 14, and a frame coordinate table 12. Thus an editing position is easily designated.
