Psychological Problems and Solutions of College Students’ Employment from the Perspective of Positive Psychology

Abstract: With the continuous development of social economy, more and more attention is paid to higher education, and the number of college graduates is gradually increasing. Becau of the unbalanced economic structure in China, the demand for talent positions is unbalanced, which has a negative impact on the employment of college students. In the long run, it has brought employment burden to college students and caud their psychological problems. Therefore, there is an urgent need for colleges and universities to pay attention to students’ psychological problems and help students ea the employment burden with positive psychology. This paper mainly analyzes the psychological problems and solutions of college students’ employment under the background of positive psychology. 1. Psychological Problems of College Students’ Employment from the Perspective of positive Psychology

(1) The employment pressure of students in different departments is obviously different

Firstly, there are some differences in the employment situation of majors in different departments of colleges and universities, and some departments have employment advantages, and students have better development space. However, the employment situation of some departments is relatively poor. Secondly, there are some differences in the process of employment guidance for students in different departments. Due to different degrees of attention, there is pressure on students’ employment. Some teachers pay more attention to students’ employment, and some teachers lack attention to students’ employment [1].
(2) The employment objectives of most college students are not clear enough

For college students who are about to graduate, if they do not know their own employment development goal, it will cau students’ psychological burden, which is more likely to cau anxiety, and has a negative impact on students’ entry into society.
(3) There are deviations in the employment concept of college students
In the employment survey of college students, about the choice of employment location, half of the st
udents prefer to go to the first-tier cities for employment, while the choice of western regions is relatively small, accounting for only 2% of the total number of the survey. This shows that college students’ choice of employment places is generally concentrated in economically developed areas. For the choice of enterpri scale, most students will choo a school with a larger enterpri scale, and only a small number of students do not pay attention to the enterpri scale, which shows that most college students do not want to go to small-scale enterpris. As far as the working environment is concerned, more than half of the students will choo enterpris with relatively comfortable working environment.
2. From the Perspective of Positive Psychology, the Solution Strategies of College Students’ Employment Psychological Problems
In view of the above psychological problems of college students’ employment, teachers in colleges and universities need to provide guidance to students with the help of positive psychology. It is necessary to change the contents and teaching methods of vocational education, and shape the positive emotions of college students with the help of scientific employment psychological guidance. (1) Accurate guidance is a principle that vocational education must implement.
The investigation shows that the employment pressure of students in different departments and majors in colleges and universities is relatively high, and there are great differences in employment guidance among different majors, which leads to the employment pressure and difficulties faced by students. Therefore, teachers in colleges and universities need to carry out effective employment guidance education and exerci bad on students’ personality characteristics and their own professional abilities, which is an important principle to be implemented in vocational education [2].
(2) Focus on the needs of employment guidance.
College students’ vocational education guidance mainly includes students’ career planning and students’ employment guidance. In the process of investigation, students pay more attention to lack of employment skills, lack of employment information and no work experience. At the same time, stu
dents of different majors are facing different employment pressures. According to the actual situation of students, teachers who need to be responsible for the employment guidance of students in different departments of colleges and universities need to give scientific employment guidance to students with the help of positive psychology. Teachers can create diversified employment guidance cours to continuously meet the actual needs of students of different majors.
For example, in the actual employment guidance activities, teachers need to investigate students’ employment problems, combine the actual investigation results, comprehensively analyze and u effective methods to integrate the knowledge of positive psychology with students’ employment guidance, and provide students with a good employment guidance classroom, so that students can consciously integrate into the guidance activities and help clarify their employment goals.
(3) Improve the employment guidance mode and realize the smart employment guidance in internet plus.
At prent, most institutions of higher learning have given relevant employment guidance to students, but different institutions have different ways of employment guidance. The investigation shows that most students prefer mock interviews and ca studies, which are different from the curr
ent employment guidance methods in colleges and universities. At prent, the guidance methods of most colleges and universities are relatively simple, and most of them are realized by teachers through theoretical teaching, lacking practical employment guidance. to learn scientific teaching methods, innovate employment guidance cours, create a good employment guidance classroom for students, provide effective help for students’ subquent employment development, and contribute talents to social construction and development [3].
For example, in the actual process of employment guidance in colleges and universities, teachers can learn effective teaching methods and innovate employment guidance methods according to the actual situation of students. Teachers can u network information technology to collect knowledge related to positive psychology and create more interesting employment guidance for students. Teachers can provide employment software for students to test. By this way, they can help students
better understand themlves and make clear plans for their own employment. At the same time, teachers can organize students to practice, so that students can visit related enterpris and understand the current job market environment. Let students conduct interview simulation, and provide students with opportunities to exerci themlves. In addition, teachers can encourage students to learn more employment knowledge by means of network technology, strengthen their understanding of the target enterpris, combine the requirements of enterpris and their own shortcomings, keep learning, meet the employment needs, and pave the way for subquent smooth employment.

(4) Cultivate a sound personality and enhance professional identity
Positive psychological quality is of great help for students to adapt to the society, and can help students to better overcome the difficulties in life. Positive character requires a gradual shaping process. Therefore, in the process of employment guidance education in colleges and universities, teachers need to attach importance to shaping students’ positive psychology, so that students can bravely face difficulties and challenges, better adapt to society and lay the foundation for students’ employment development [4].
For example, in the actual employment guidance activities, teachers can collect and sort out relevant positive psychology cas through the Internet, and prent them to students in class, so that students can understand the knowledge of positive psychology and influence students subtly. At the same time, teachers can help students establish a correct employment concept and be more down-to-earth. In addition, teachers are required to cultivate students’ lf-confidence and enhance their professional knowledge and ability. Guide students to analyze their own majors, strengthen the rearch on professional knowledge, make students clear their employment prospects and enhance their professional lf-confidence. In addition, teachers need to provide employment psychological counling to students, so that students can establish a positive psychological state, relieve their employment pressure, and better integrate into society, so as to realize the high efficiency of employment guidance.

All in all, in the employment practice of colleges and universities, most college students are faced with relatively great employment pressure, and employment guidance teachers are required to active
ly guide students with effective methods to help them relieve the employment burden. Teachers can u network information technology to integrate the knowledge of positive psychology into employment guidance, provide psychological counling to students, help students to establish a correct employment concept, clarify their own employment goals, and lay the foundation for students’ subquent development.
