Recently, the student union of our school conducted a survey among all the nior students, 2,105 in all in our school on whether you take notes in the class. According to the survey, one fourths of the students have the habit of taking notes and their grades are better. However, 37% of them don’t know how to take notes though they have tried and they expect some instruction from teachers. To make matters wor, 38% students never take notes becau they don’t know what note to take. The rusult of the survey is quite worrying and in my opinion, measures should be taken to teach the students what and how to take notes.
