一、课程性质、目的与任务
本课程是非英语专业本科生的公共基础课。课程教学所要达到的目的要求:大学英语(4
旨在通过教师的“精讲”和学生的“多练”,通过读、听、说、写、译全方位的各种形式的课堂内外的实践,培养学生具有较扎实的英语语言和较强的英语综合应用能力,特别是听说能力,能用英语有效地进行口头和书面的信息交流,以适应社会发展,经济建设和国际交流的需要。同时,培养学生积极主动的学习方法和思维方法,助其形成有效的学习策略的同时,提高他们的创新意识以及分析问题和解决问题的能力,为他们的后续学习和发展打下坚定的基础。
