摘要：PURPOSE:To facilitate the manufacture with a smaller equipment as a whole, by utilizing a focusing system with a reflecting surface arranged near to a focal plane. CONSTITUTION:In a focusing system having a condenr lens 131, a mask 151 for restricting luminous fluxes and a reflecting mirror 141, the reflecting mirror 141 is arranged roughly on a focal plane of the condenr lens 131, specified orders of diffracted lights projected in parallel with the condenr lens 131 are made to pass through opening of the mask 151 and after reflected by the reflecting mirror 141, it rever the original optical path. With such an arrangement, undesired orders of diffraction luminous flux can be removed regardless of any distance to a condenr lens 13 from the diffraction grating 3 and so, the condenr lens 13 may be placed immediately after the diffraction grating 3. This enables miniaturization of the equipment as a whole.
