Aright, we’re back. Now let’s look at some pronunciation tips in this dialogue.接下来我们来看看对话中的发音要点。
1. Captain, we’re under attack by an unidentified ship. 略读分析：unidentified ship之间，
unidentified的爆破音/d/遇见了ship的摩擦音/ʃ/，如果一个爆破音后面紧跟了一个摩擦音，那么前面这个爆破音就不完全爆破，只发出轻微的爆破声，读作/ˌʌnaɪˈdentɪfaɪ(d)/ + /ʃɪp/。
2. We’ve sustained heavy damage to the engines. We’ve lost our warp drive. 略读分析：
∙sustained heavy之间，sustained的爆破音/d/ 遇见了heavy的摩擦音/h/, 爆破音/d/不完全爆破，只发出轻微的爆破声，我们读作/səˈsteɪn(d)/ + /ˈhevi/。
∙warp drive之间， warp的爆破音/p/遇见了drive的破擦音/dr/, 一个爆破音后面紧跟了一个破擦音，前面的这个爆破音就不完全爆破，只发出轻微的爆破声，读作/wɔːr(p)/ + /draɪv/。
3. Kor doesn’t sound like that. His voice is deeper!略读分析：
∙doesn’t sound之间，doesn’t的爆破音/t/遇见了sound的摩擦音/s/, 爆破音/t/不完全爆破，只发出轻微的爆破声，我们读作/ˈdʌz·ən(t)/ + /saʊnd/。
∙sound like之间，sound的爆破音/t/遇见了like的舌侧音/l/, 一个爆破音后面跟了一个舌侧音,爆破音不完全爆破，只发出轻微的爆破声，我们读作/saʊn(d)/ + /laɪk/。
连读分析：voice is之间可以连读，读作/vɔɪs/ + /ɪz/。

If we break it down and look at the first word “unidentified”.

So it means you don’t know the identity.

So, “an unidentified ship” means a spaceship that you don't know its identity.

Well, when somebody gets lost, maybe in the woods, you need to nd out a arch party to find them.
当有人迷路的时候, 也许在树林里，你需要派出一支搜索队去寻找他们。
So, party would be a group of people.
所以，party可以是“一组人、一群人”的意思。
Sometimes you might say “How many people in your party?”
有时候你可能会问“你的队伍上有多少人？”

The arch party was nt to the planet's surface.

3. a deep voice 一个低沉的声音
So in the dialogue, the man says Kor doesn’t sound like that. His voice is deeper!
在对话中，这个人说科尔的声音不是这样的，他的声音更低沉。
Now, becau his voice isn’t deep enough, he doesn’t sound authentic.
现在，因为扮演科尔的人声音不够低沉，所以听起来不太真实。
例句：
She has a deep voice and doesn't even try for the high notes.
她有一副低沉的嗓音，对高音她甚至都不试一下。
4. wig / wɪɡ / n.假发
And our last word for today is “wig”.
我们来看今天的最后一个词“wig（假发）”。

It’s a very popular phra that you would hear in war movies.
这是你常会在战争类的电影中听到的表达。

So “We are under fire” basically means the same thing.
“We are under fire”基本上是同一个意思。

They were under attack from all sides.
