This standard defines an accelerated corrosion test method to be ud in asssing the corrosion re
sistance of metals in environments where there is a significant influence of chloride ions, mainly as sodium chloride from a marine source or by winter road deicing salt.

2.2 Application of salt solution 盐溶液的应用
It is advisable to install a spraying device for salt application inside the climate chamber.

The test objects shall be placed in the cabinet on stands with their test surface facing upwards.
