大学英语四、六级写作攻略
“21世纪•新东方十一月征文大赛”蚂蚁和大象的故事给出了四级和六级写作题目各一个。在本期四、六级栏目中，北京新东方学校的石雷鹏老师将以这两道题目为例，为大家讲解四级提纲式议论文和六级画图作文的写法。
四级征文
Instructions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a short essay entitled “Are Advanced Electronic Products Necessary for College Students?” bad on the outline given below. You should write at least 120 words, but no more than 180 words.
1. 如今，不少大学生拥有较高级电子设备，如智能手机、平板电脑等。
男生拍照技巧2. 对此人们看法不一。
3. 我的看法。
题目分析与策略
国内考试(如四六级、考研)写作部分一般采用整体评分和奖励性评分结合的方式，由考官根据整体印象，从内容、结构和语言三个部分综合给出得分。
因此，考生答题时应该满足：1)切题；2)表达意思清楚；3)语言连贯通顺，基本无语言错误，最好做到词句多变。考生审题时应从以上三方面构思完成写作。
四级提纲式议论文的思路
1)审读英文题目和写作要求(即汉语提纲)，有些考生习惯了只看汉语提纲就下笔，这是万万不可的，很容易忽略了英文部分的重要信息。
2)将三个提纲转化为英文表达，分别充当该段主题句或核心意思。
幼儿园保安3)将主题句或核心意思扩展成段落，即用几句话来论证主题句，常用的方法是讲道理丁香花简介(分析因果)和举例子。新四军简介
由于四级作文对字数的要求不高，所以每段只使用讲道理或举例子中的一种论证方法即可。
若某段中由于论述的需要而同时运用两种论证方法，那么应该先“讲道理”,再“举例子”。
“讲道理”时多使用一些“起承转合”的词语，如：therefore用心良苦，becau，responsible for，account for。而“举例子”常用的表达则是for example, for instance, take ... for example等。
按照以上步骤，这篇文章可以写成三个或四个功能段落：
1)现象段：描写智能手机等高级电子设备在校园流行的现象。
2)观点对比分析段(即利、弊分析)：阐述人们对于大学生使用高级电子设备这件事的两种不同观点，每种观点后跟上一句话或两句话进行论证。两种观点可以放在一个段落中，也可以分成两段。
3)我的观点：立场要明确，切忌立场模糊，模棱两可。
一等奖作品
Gone are the days when college students refer to libraries as the only source of information. Nowadays, an increasing number of students equip themlves with advanced electronic products, such as smartphones and e-books.
Some believe that it’s esntial for college students to own such advanced devices. It is convenient for students to read e-books, becau they can download lots of reading materials. Smartphones guarantee Internet access as long as Wi-Fi is available.
Others, however, hold the view that a prevalence of advanced electronic products among students will cau them to become addicted to and reliant on such gadgets. For instance, smartphones provide easy access to games, which can profoundly impinge on a student’s studies.
Considering the above, we can draw the conclusion that advanced electronic products offer more convenience and entertainment than trouble. But when choosing our products, it is always wi to consider our purchasing power and actual requirements.

缺憾是结尾段首句表述老套，Considering the above, we can draw the 建议改写为：By and large, the convenience and entertainment derived from advanced electronic products far outweighs the trouble.
二等奖作品选段
I personally believe that for college students it is necessary to own and make good u of advanced electronic products. High-tech products, though not without their drawbacks, can provide students with more opportunities to broaden their horizons and adapt to the fast-changing world more easily, which is conducive to their future development.

六级征文
什么是意境Instructions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write an essay on the topic What Should Parents Give Their Offspring? Your essay should start by commenting on the cartoon below. You should write at least 150 words, but no more than 200 words.
题目分析与策略
2012年6月六级写作罕见地考查了图画作文，但六级图画作文稍稍不同于考研图画作文，区别在于：1)六级画图作文给出了作文题目，而考研图画作文一般不给题目。题目给了考生整体写作的方向，显然降低了难度。2)考研写作一般给出三项要求：图画描述、图画寓意阐述、评论建议；但六级只给出话题和一项要求，需要考生从题目和写作要求出发挖掘写作内容。
本次作文审题时应注意：
1)对题目的理解：策论“父母应该留给孩子什么？”
2)抓住英文部分的写作要求：Start by commenting on the cartoon below。内容的描述和评论，且一定要有简单评论；如将写作要求改为Start with a description of the picture，则开篇重在图片内容的描述。请大家牢记：按照试题要求去写相应的内容是得分的基石。
3)词数要求。我们发现，不少来稿的词数都严重超出了200词。看清题目要求的词数非常重要，因为只有这样我们才能规划好每一段大致的长度，才不至于出现头重脚轻等问题。
六级图画作文的思路
首段：图画描述(加简单评论)。描述时主要关注四个要素，即主要人(或物)、动作、环境和文字说明。
二段：揭示图画的现实意义，即寓意阐述；该段可以从以下角度出发：事件背景、图片在现实生活的体现、原因、正反论证、对比论证、举例论证、主题对将来的影响等。
三段：对该现象评论或建议。可以从父母、年轻人、社会等角度出发提出建议。
一等奖作品
It ems silly of the man in the picture to squander the fortune he has inherited. Sooner or later, he will squander all his property and may even end up poor. Property is obviously not the best thing parents should offer their offspring.
So what should parents give their offspring? Virtues. As the most intrinsic traits among a person, virtues are the most important things that parents should confer on their children. They are a thousand times better than property. Virtues include many qualities, such as in
dependence, honesty, and diligence.
Like D.C. Fisher said, a mother is not a person to lean on, but a person to make leaning unnecessary. Adolescents should fully understand that they can’t always rely on their parents, and must be cultivated into independent adults who have the capability of earning money to support themlves. Besides, honesty and diligence are fundamental values in our society and shouldn’t be ignored. Only honest and diligent adults derve success, both in their career and life.
The virtues are indispensable and parents should confer them on their offspring. Once adolescents acquire the virtues, they can be decent adults and won’t lo themlves when faced with the ductions of life.
