摘要：1394998 Linear motors TRACKED HOVERCRAFT Ltd 25 Aug 1972 [10 Sept 1971] 42378/71 Heading H2A The primary member of a polypha linear induction motor compris an elongate core of magnetic material and winding conductors traversing the working face of the core in directions having a component parallel to the longitudinal axis of the motor, the winding conductors being dispod so that, in u, they interct imaginary lines interconnecting adjacent points at which the f. has identical pha at any instant. The primary shown in Fig. 1 is that of a transver flux machine and compris two winding layers 12, 14 inclined in mutually opposite directions at 45 degrees to the longi - tudinal axis of the motor. The return conductors are on the rever side of the core. Fig. 2 (not shown) illustrates a modification in which each layer, e.g. 12, on the working face of the core rves as the return conductors of the other layer, 14. The embodiment of Fig. 10 compris conductors perpendicular to the longitudinal axis in the working area of the core and two end regions 50, 52, each comprising two layers of conductors inclined to the longitudinal axis. Figs. 15-20 (all not shown) illustrate primary members in which each pha group in the winding compris concentric or overlapping rectangular turns.
