摘要：PURPOSE:To smoothly and readily perform a tree-cutting work by disposing a pair of cutting blades at the lower portion of a columnar support and slidably attaching grips for gripping the tree on the cutting blade-dispod side of the column along the longitudinal direction of the support. CONSTITUTION:A pair of cutting blades 3 having tapered cutting edges are dispod on one lower side of a columnar support 2 and the cutting blades are driven with a hydraulic device 5. A tree is gripped with grips 6 slidably attached on the cutting blade-dispod side of the support 2 along the longitudinal direction of the column and the cutting edges are allowed to cut into the tree. Any compression stress does not cau at the tree portion gripped with the cutting blades and the grips.
