摘要：A sulcated spring (12), consisting of a strip bent into a zig-zag, is cured at one end limb (34) to a suspension component (18), for example part of a shock absorber, by gripping the end limb between a flat support surface (22) and an oppod, parallel anchoring surface (46). The support (22) and anchoring (46) surfaces form part of a support member and an anchoring member respectively, the members having formations which inter-engage externally of the end limb of the sulcated spring. The members are preferably nested channel ctions, preferably being relatively slidable, the formations affording cam surfaces which urge the bas of the channels together.
