摘要：PURPOSE:To reduce noi during printing by pressing a printing head to a printing surface by means of a shuttle motion obtained through rotary movement of a cam consisting of a cam connected to a rotational shaft or a cam consisting of a disc having an eccentric rotational shaft. CONSTITUTION:When a printing head 4 shuttles back and forth by the rotation of a cam 2, a printing pattern forming part 5 repeatedly press a printing sheet 9 onto a platen 10. As a result, a printing pattern is printed on the surface of the printing sheet 9. If a motor is stopped or the distance between the printing head 4 and the sliding surface of the cam 2 is maintained, a contact between a printing forming surface and the printing ribbon 8 or the surface of the printing sheet 9 is lost, resulting in the stopping of printing. Noi is reduced by employing the pressing mechanism of the printing head and subquently the operation of the printing head is accelerated at high speed and ordinary type sheet can be printed by the head.
