摘要：PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a dent in the ca of u as pressure-nsitive pad paper, by providing a tension roller which rotates while press a feed roller for feeding out paper to a printing mechanism and a platen which is engaged with the arm transmitting the motion from the feed roller to parate or approach with respect to a printing head. CONSTITUTION:The tension roller 2 forming a pair along with a feed roller 1 is pivotally supported at one end of an arm 3 and the arm 3 is pivotally supported so as to be revolvable around a horizontal shaft 6 and the tension roller 2 is energized toward the feed roller 1. A platen 4 is arranged so as to be movable up and down with respect to a printing head 5 and the other end of the arm 3 is engaged with the platen 4. Paper 7 is nt in the direction shown by an arrow A while held between the feed roller 1 and the tension roller 2 and, when the tension roller 2 is operated by the quantity corresponding to the thickness of the paper 7 in the direction shown by the arrow B, the platen 4 engaged with the arm 3 is moved in the direction shown by an arrow C to cure a proper interval with respect to the printing head 5. As mentioned above, since the tension roller detects the thickness of the paper to adjust the position of the platen, the detent applied to pressure nsitive pad paper can be prevented.
