太阳暖烘烘的，鸭妈妈卧在窝里，等她的孩子出世。
The sun was comfortably warm and Mother Duck was laying in her nest waiting for her babies to be born into this world.

一只只小鸭都从蛋壳里钻出来了，就剩下一个特别大的蛋。
Every little duckling squeezed its way out from its shell except an exceptionally large egg.
过了好几天，这个蛋才慢慢裂开，
A few days later this egg slowly cracked open.
钻出一只又大又丑的鸭子。
A big and ugly duckling came out.
他的毛灰灰的，嘴巴大大的，身子瘦瘦的，
Its feather was gray, its beak was large, and its body was scrawny.
大家都叫他“丑小鸭”。
Everybody called it “Ugly Duckling”.

Ugly Duckling had arrived in this world.
除了鸭妈妈，谁都欺负他。
Other than Mother Duck, everyone el bullied it.

Older brothers and sisters bit it, rooster pecked at it, and even the duck-raising little girl detested it.
巩晓彬丑小鸭感到非常孤单，
Ugly Duckling felt very lonely.
就钻出篱笆，离开了家。
So it took off through a bamboo fence and ran away from home.

Ugly duckling came to the forest.
小鸟讥笑他，猎狗追赶他。
Little birds jeered at it and hound-dogs chad after it.
他白天只好躲起来，到了晚上才敢出来找吃的。
So during daytime it went into hiding and would only go out to look for food during nighttime.

Autumn came and tree leaves turned yellow.

Ugly Duckling came to the reeds on lakeside, and days pasd quietly.

猫咪为什么会呕吐One evening a flock of swans flew by in the sky.

Ugly Duckling was frozen stiff on the ice and luckily a farmer saw it and brought it home.

One day Ugly Duckling came out for a stroll.

It saw lilac was in bloom and so it knew spring was here.
他扑扑翅膀，向湖边飞去，
It flapped its wings and flew towards the lake.
忽然看见镜子似的湖面上，映出一个漂亮的影子，雪白的羽毛，长长的脖子，
Suddenly it saw on the mirror-like surface of the lake was a beautiful reflection with white
feathers and long neck.
美丽极了。
It was stunningly gorgeous.
这难道是自己的影子？
“Could it be possibly that it is my own reflection?
生命的秘密>制作照片啊，原来我不是丑小鸭，是一只漂亮的天鹅呀！
Oh, actually I’m not an ugly duckling but a beautiful swan.”
