Notes
Notes are shorter letters written for various purpos. Compared with a letter, a note is a simpler in form and often informal or colloquial in language. In a note, the following may be omitted:
1. the address of the addre and the addresr
2. the word “Dear” in the salutation (称呼)
3. the complimentary clo

Be sure that the date of your note is made quite clear. Though the date may be written in numbers only, it is best not to u only numbers to avoid misunderstanding and confusion; for 10/1/93 is Oct. 1, 1993 to the Americans, but Jan. 10, 1993 to the British and the most Europeans. Oct. 1, 1993 may also be written as 树屋图片>我就在你身旁1(st) October(,) 1993 or abbreviated to 1 O
ct, ’93, with or without a comma between the month and the year when you write the day before the month. The names of other months with the exception of May are often abbreviated to Feb., Mar., Apr., Aug., Sept., Nov., Dec. June and July may be abbreviated to Jun. and Jul., but it is better to spell them out.
