SPO2 is the percentage of HbO2 in Hb, which is an important physiological parameter for respiration system. To make sure measuring SPO2 accurate and convenient. Our company develop the pul oxemeter, this equipment can measure pul at the same time.
The oxmeter made in Contec with small bulk, low consume of energy, convenient to schlep. When you inrt finger into the oximeter probe, the SPO2 parameter will be display in the screen.

3 Principle and Attention Items
3.1 Work Principle
The working principle of oxemeter is according to the absorb spectrum characteristic of R Hb and O2 Hb under red glow. According to Lambert Beer law, we get formula for data processing. Its working principle adopt photoelectricity oxemeter examine technology and dimension pul sign technology, which take two beams of light with different wavelength (660nm red glow and 940nm sub infrared ray) irradiate people’s finger nail edge to get measure signal data with clairvoyant nip nsor. The acquired data be procesd in electrocircuit and microprocessor(MPU) and then display the result on LTD.

3.3 Clinical Restriction
1 As the measure is taken on the basis of arteriole pul, substantial pulsating blood flow of subject is required. For a subject with weak pul due to shock, low ambient/body temperature, major bleeding, or u of vascular contracting drug, the SpO
2 waveform (PLETH) will decrea. In this ca, the measurement will be more nsitive to interference.
2 For tho with a substantial amount of staining dilution drug (such as methylene blue, indigo green and acid indigo blue), or carbon monoxide hemoglobin (COHb), or methionine (Me+Hb) or thiosalicylic hemoglobin, and some with icterus problem, the SpO2 determination by this monitor may be inaccurate.
3 The drugs like dopamine, procaine, prilocaine, lidocaine and butacaine may also be a major factor blamed for rious error of SpO2 measure.
4 As the SpO2 value rves as a reference value for judgement of anemic anoxia and toxic anoxia, some patients with rious anemia may also report good SpO2 measurement.
