摘要：The cylinder shell gment, for a rotating flat card, is a longitudinal body with two plate ctions. One ction, in operation, has an inner surface towards the working zone of the card, and the other ction acts as a stiffener. The two ctions are linked together so that the bending forces through shear stress are transferred from one ction to the other. In operation, the gment surface acts as a fibre guide surface.
