What Makes a Person Important
When confronted with the question If Wealth and Posssions Make a Person Important, people em to be in a denial. From the traditional point of view, it’s the inner virtues that make a person important, which has been deeply embedded in our mind since we were young.
However, more often than not, the way we apprai whether somebody is successful bas on some similar criteria, e.g. how much money or properties they’ve had or how important positions they occupy and subquently, we create a rank according to the criteria which can be found in Forbes World’s Richest People or The Richest List of the HURUN Report. Seldom are there any rankings about honesty, perverance, diligence and so on.
We may always hold the richest in awe and may admire the wealth and the posssions they have, but scarcely do we think of the offstage reasons why they’re successful.
In my opinion, there’s no denying the fact that tho wealthy are respectful and important n
ot only becau they can have some positive influence on the social finance, but also becau they prove greater efforts they’ve made in terms of making money. Actually, their wealth also reflects some virtues or characteristics they’re blesd with. What’s more, they can excel themlves taking advantage of the personal traits and make every endeavor to reach their goals. All above contributes to one’s success and importance, and one can never succeed without excelling themlves into full play. And it’s diligence that is shared by all successful people.
So in a word, back to the beginning, it is the virtue diligence that makes a person important. Diligence yields countless success and being wealthy is just one aspect of it. Some people may not earn much money but they do philanthropy diligently, teach students or write poems or whatever they do with diligence, they all can be regarded as important and successful.
