As the old saying goes, failure is the mother of success. So I think diligence is the father of success. Hard work may not lead to success，but it will certainly clor to success. “Genius is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration.” So we have more reason to believe that diligence contributes to success.
I remember when I was about sixteen years old，I was addicted to beautiful romantic novels and neglected my study. So in the first manly test, my grades fell 10 ranking. Tears quickly falling. I even don't want to tell my mom the terrible grades. However I still told my mom，she just comfort me, even smelling all the time. But I can stop crying. From then on, a clear， learning plan came into my mind，I began to get up one hour earlier than
before，and spend the extra time to recite some English grammar rules, ancient poetries and kinds of science formulas. When in class，I didn’t feel asleep again,but concentrate on what tho teachers said and make notes as detailed as possible in order to facilitate my view.
By my great efforts，I got my satisfactory grades，and in this process，I feel the happiness of hard-working. Therefore, to my mind，the most important equality for young people is diligence。
