The following instructions are to be complied with by all Engineer. The orders will be supplemented by additional instructions in the night order book.
1负责所有主副机及电器设备的安全运转。
Be responsible for safety operating of M/E & all auxiliary moving machinery and electric equipment.
2认真按规定填写轮机日志及各种记录簿。
Be diligent to record engine log book, and various E/R record books regularly.
3随时检查机器和电器设备及轴系等运转情况，遇有警报呼叫时，应立即前往检查处理。
Frequently check operating conditions for all rving machinery & transmitting shaft lines and treat immediately while an alarm announced.
4在恶劣天气中航行时，加强操舵系统的检查，检查大件的紧固情况，并严禁烟火。为防止主机空车和超负荷、增压器喘振，需要降低主机转速时，应先取得轮机长同意，并通知驾驶

Emphasize to patrol steering gear system, double-check tightness of all heavy weights, and keep free from smoking & fire during rough a, reduce M/E revolutions to prevent M/E overload, propeller cavitations & T/C surging via C/E & duty officer's acknowledgment.
5如果机舱发生火灾，或设备有故障，或意外原因引起主机降速和停止以及停电等，而危及航行安全时，应采取一切必要措施，并立刻报告值班驾驶员及轮机长。
If engine room makes a fire or equipment trouble or accident cour to introduce main engine decread speed and stop an electric source failure etc. to precarious navigating safety, must adopt anything necessary a measure. Immediately to report the duty officer and C/E.
6采取措施并遵守有关的防污染规则。

6.1排放舱底水时，必需经油水分离器排出船外。
Must by oily water parator discharge the bilge overboard.
6.2排放生活污水时，必须用生活污水处理装置排出船外。
Must by wage treatment machine discharge the wage overboard.
7运转中的机电设备检查。
Periodic inspects of all operating.
7.1各运转的部件和磨擦部件是否正常，可从各压力表，温度表和现场查看。
Whether normal every operate parts and friction parts. This question can visible from the pressure gauge, thermometer, and the spot investigation.
7.2燃油淡水和滑油各系统供应是否正常，有关压力及温度是否正常，和燃、滑油日用柜液位，膨涨水柜水位是否正常
Whether normal the supply and relation pressure temperature & expansion tank level, fuel rvice tank level of fresh water, fuel oil & lubricating oil.
8机舱逃生路线必须熟悉。
From engine room to escape way must to be conversant.
9如果机舱大量海水进入，要知道怎样应急排出机舱污水及熟悉其管路。
Knowledge how to u and conversant it pipe lines the emergency discharge the engine bilge if engine room most at water come in.
10如有任何疑问，或发现任何主机不正常的状况，立刻通知我。
If in any doubt, or any abnormal main engine condition found, call me at once.
11轮机员在接班前，请阅读轮机长命令簿并在其上签名。
Engineers will plea read and sign the CHIEF ENGINEER ORDER BOOK before relieving the watch.
