二、教学目标及教学要求
《导游英语》是旅游管理专业的专业主干课程，是全国英语导游资格证书的必考课程，是一门实践性较强的课程，我校旅管系学生部分来自湖南,新疆,山东、安徽等地，英语水平参差不齐,本教材通俗易懂，涵盖了所有导游技能和全国各地的旅游景点。通过本课程的学习，使学生能够较全面掌握全国主要景区的主要景点知识，并且能够将景点知识与旅游常识融汇贯通；通过讲解与示范、演练与实践活动，促进本专业学生英文导游职业素质的养成、提高其旅游情境下的英文交际能力,最终建构其景区景点的英文解说能力；通过本课程的学习,学生还可以获得一种浅能，使他们在将来的实习和工作中面对新的景点景区（浙、江、沪）讲解时，能够以上海导游学习所获得的能力去解决新的不断出现的难题。
三、教学内容及学时分配
1. Unit 1 Meeting the Tour Group – Travel in Beijing（10学时)
目的要求：In this unit, get the students to:
1.Know the skills to make preparations for meeting tourists。
2.Be familiar with the information about the tourist sites in Beijing, such as the Temple of
Earth， the Tian'anmen Square， the Great Wall, and the Former Imperial Palace。
3.Learn how to deliver a welcome speech as a guide。
4.Learn how to make situational dialogues about tourist sites.
5.Know the cultural meanings of the colors of Imperial Palace.

目的要求：In this unit, get the students to：
1.Know how to draft an itinerary。
2.Be familiar with the information about the tourist sites in Shanxi， such as the Mount Wutai, Yungang Grottoes, Pingyao Ancient City， the Qiao’s Compound。
3.Learn how to draft an itinerary and what should be included in an itinerary.
4.Remember some information about tourist sites.
5.Learn some knowledge about Chine Dragon Culture.

2.Be familiar with the information about the tourist sites in Shandong, such as Baotu Spring, Penglai Pavilion， Confucius Temple， Mount Tai， etc.
3.Learn how to give the on-the-way introduction.
4.Learn how to make situational dialogues about tourist sites and remember important information of them。
5.Know some basic knowledge about Chine Confucianism。

3.Learn what the Method of Narrative Introduction is。。
4.Learn how to make situational dialogues about tourist sites and remember some important information of them.
5.Know some knowledge about Chine Wushu.
