一、单元内容分析
本单元的话题是旅行。教学重点是旅游前需要做的相关准备、常见的旅游活动的名称,表达旅行计划的句型。具体为:能够识别并说出常见旅行准备活动的名称、听懂谈论旅行的对话,包括谈论目的地和旅游活动及准备工作;正确及熟练运用本单元有关旅行的常用词语和句式理解和询问旅游日程安排及活动,填写旅行攻略;能读懂关于以旅行攻略为主题的文章;能书写简单的旅行日程安排和游览活动;同时掌握基本的外出旅行常识,开阔学生的眼界,树立正确的世界观,了解多元文化,热爱生活,提升国际意识。本单元的语法点为状语从句。
旅游是学生感兴趣的话题 。学生对于家乡旅游名胜的名称较熟悉,但是对具体的旅行活动却不能很好的描述。本单元结合了当下的热门景点,又结合了一些流行的活动,以满足学生的学习需要。另外,针对中职学生的实际情况,教师可通过合理的设计,尽量为学生创设较为真实的语言环境,帮助学生巩固旧知同时,融入新内容,帮助学生更积极地加入到课堂教学活动中来,以有效的完成听、说、读、写四个任务。在谈论旅行的同时也关注身处的世界,培养学生以积极的人生观、世界观。
本单元设计成四个课时:
第一课时 Lead in + Listening and speaking
第二课时 Reading and writing
第三课时Grammar focus (Object Claus)
第四课时 Vocabulary practice + Supplementary reading

一、教材分析
1.教学内容
本课时系教材《英语基础教程》(2)第七单元的第一课时,包括Lead-in & Listening and speaking两部分,具体内容为:能够识别并说出出国旅行的准备活动的名称、听懂谈论旅
行的对话,包括谈论目的地和旅游活动及准备工作;正确及熟练运用本单元有关旅行的常用词语和句式理解和询问旅游日程安排及活动。

二、教学目标
1.知识目标
⑴ 掌握常见旅行准备活动的相关短语,如book the ticket, make the travel itinerary, buy insurance, apply for a Visa, promotion, travel abroad, choice, tourism hot spot, beach, sunt, preparations
⑵掌握谈论旅游目的地和旅游活动及准备工作的句型,如:
---I'm planning to travel abroad ... .
---Shall we go together?
---Where shall we go?
---Do you have any suggestions?
---? It is a .... and we can ...
2.能力目标
⑴能够识别并说出出国旅行的准备活动的名称;
⑵听懂谈论旅行的对话,包括谈论目的地和旅游活动及准备工作;
⑶对以上基本词汇和句型达到听、说应用的程度。
3.情感目标
⑴掌握基本的外出旅行常识;
⑵开阔学生的眼界,树立正确的世界观;
⑶了解多元文化,热爱生活,提升国际意识。

三、教学步骤
Step One Lead-in
1.Brainstorm.
Teacher shows a letter of resignation which is well-known online.
Teacher: “Do you want to travel around the world?”
“Chen Xi and Jenny are planning to travel aboard”
“We have many things to do before we travel, what are they?”
Have the students write down the things to do on a card, then put them into different groups.

2.Activity 1. Look and Match
Have the student to work in individuals and match the words with related pictures.
Words to be taught: book the ticket, book the hotel, make a to-do list, make the travel itinerary, buy insurance, apply for a Visa
(设计意图:通过图片与词汇的匹配活动,学习新词汇,让学生了解有关旅行的词汇,为后续的听说活动做好充分的热身活动。)
3.Practice. Have the students recite the phras by a short passage.
I am planning to travel abroad this summer vacation. First, I should make a travel itinerary. Then I need to make a to-do list and apply for a visa. After that, I need to book a ticket and book a room in a hotel; at last, don’t forget to buy insurance.
(设计意图: 通过小短文的形式,将旅行活动串联起来,形成一个完整的流程,既能帮助学生掌握词汇,又有利于学生形成良好的逻辑思维能力。)
Step Two Listening and speaking
1.Activity 2. Listen and tick. Students listen to the tape and circle the topic they heard.
T: What are Chen Xi and Jenny talking about?
(设计意图: 听第一遍录音,了解谈论主题和识别关键词,训练学生在听的过程中,能结合图片内容捕捉听力内容大意的能力。)
2.Activity 3. Listen and choo. Read the questions in activity 3 with the students as a whole, listen to the tape again, and then choo the correct answer.

3.Activity 4. Listen and complete. Ask the students to listen to the tape and fill in the blanks

4.Activity 5: Listen and repeat. Students listen to the dialogue and underline the key ntences about raveling.

Practice the key ntences: Play the tape ntence by ntence and lead students to repeat them. Then the teacher makes up short dialogues with veral students.
