With the development of the economy, global warming has become one of
the most rious problems nowadays.

通过这节课，可以让学生对环保这个话题进行有效的输入和输出，学生的语言表达方面语病较多，在写作方面，学生在卷面，语言表达和标点符号方面出现了很多问题，学生英语表达能力亟待提高。
这节课充分发挥了学生的主体地位，在本节课中，学生的的活动较多，充分发挥老师的主
导地位，引领作用。老师通过设计一些问题，逐步引领学生，让学生通过读课文，小组讨论，等方式，让学生有足够的语言输入，而通过自由发言和写作的方式，把有效的信息进行输出。通过这节课，学生的知识掌握了，能力提升了，对英语的学习兴趣更浓了，真正实现了课堂的高效。
在本单元中心话题的是人类当今面对的环境问题，主要探讨了“全球变暖”和“节约能源”等方面的问题。由于人类过多的使用不可再生资源，大气中二氧化碳的含量逐年增加，导致全球气温上升。通过本单元的学习，让学生了解能源分为“不可再生资源”和“再生资源”，帮助学生树立“节约能源、保护环境”的主人翁意识。
而这节课的设置以学生应用为主，让学生了解这类应用文的写作方法，并以书信的形式把文章中重点的单词短语和句式加以应用。
