四、One possible version:
The 9th China International Garden Expo is opening soon. We are very excited becau it will be held in Fengtai District, the place where we live and study. All of my classmates agree that we should do something for it. So last Sunday morning we came to some busy streets and nt to the pasrsby colorful brochures introducing the Expo. Then we went to the spot where free car stickers were handed out. We helped the drivers put the stickers on their cars, hoping the concept of green lifestyle will spread as tho cars run around the city.
In the afternoon, we came to the Garden Expo park to plant trees. Some of us dug holes. Some planted young trees and others watered them. Seeing the lines of trees, we had a wonderful n of achievement. When walking around the park, we were attracted by its beauty and some of us couldn’t help taking part in a contest, drawing the Garden Expo in their minds.
It was a busy and tiring day, but all of us felt really happy and proud to make our contri
butions to the Garden Expo.

三、One possible version:
Seeing the picture, I can’t help thinking how silly the boy is! He is cutting the thorns off the cactus. Maybe he thinks the thorns will hurt him. But a cactus without thorns is not a cactus anymore. What’s more, cutting down thorns can cau deadly effects becau thorns can prevent loss of water and protect cactus from birds and animals.
Just like the boy, we human beings always try to change nature according to our will. For many years we have been doing things against nature, just for our own benefits. Now we are suffering from the disasters we have caud---pollution, climate change, deforestation and so on. I think it’s time for us to correct our mistakes and learn to respect nature.
