Imagine a car without a steering wheel. Tough to imagine,

right? Well, actually that’s the image you e if a person has no

faith. Faith helps to guide us in our lives, encourage us to persist,

and give directions when we are lost.

In this peaceful era, our life paths em to be already well-planned and determined. What we have to do is to follow. Yes,

we may face different sorts of challenges, but at least they are

less harsh when compared to tho in the past. We do not need

to worry about starving to death, or how to earn enough money

to buy food for our siblings and sustain our lives.

It is like driving from a muddy road into a highway. In the

muddy road, path, you would say, as it is formed only by crossing

on it many times, flattening the ground to form a smoother area

so we can pass. The road is so bumpy and rough, with holes here

and there and rocks lying all over. When we drive along this road,

we have to be very careful, having a firm grip on the steering

wheel, ready for a sudden turn or a large boulder that may

appear any cond. However, when we drive on a highway,

everything becomes different. The road is smooth, straight, and

visible. Since there is no unen obstacle, we may lower our

guard, relax a bit, and loon our grip on the steering wheel. One

may even think, if we only have to drive on a smooth straight

road like this highway, why would we need a steering wheel?

Nevertheless, one cannot foree the future. Accidents do

happen. For example, a car may suddenly appear in front of you.

At such times, if you did not have the steering wheel, how could

you make a sudden turn? Just as no one could foree the

Sichuan Earthquake nor the Japan Tsunami. If the one being

trapped under the debris did not have faith, he/she would not

have survived until being rescued. If we did not have faith, we

could not recover from our sadness and rebuild our home.

Faith is unique, just as happiness is. We feel happy for

different reasons, we believe for different things. How can we

know what we believe in? Recall the last time you are discouraged,

and you felt you had lost all hopes in your life. What pulled you

back into the world? What pushed you to stand up and continue

to strive again? That is your faith, your belief. Faith is what makes

you feel you can when others say you can’t.

Faith is important…, faith is vital…, faith is necessary for us to

live our lives. If we do not have faith, we are like a car without a

steeling wheel. We can only afford to move along a straight and

smooth path, and cannot meet any challenge in our lives. One

must understand that no matter how smooth the road is, it is

impossible for a car to go without a steering wheel. Or, put it in

another way, have you ever en a car without a steering wheel

on the road? So, act now, my friends, find out what you believe

in, find out your anchor in your life, hold on to your steeling

wheel of your car, drive on, and reach your destination. Thank

He enterde the music indestry at the year 2004 , before that

year ,he was only a boy who wrote songs for many super stars ,his

writer . He was noly hard to write songs becau he like music ,he

thought music has it soal , if you sing it by heart , it well be lived .

I like a song of him , it's name is CRIES IN A DISTANCE , the

song tells us ,nothing is sad if we belive the hope . He has many

difficulty , but his song says , cries in a distance , can't stop the

tremble , I'm just waiting my turn , hiding will never , save me

forever , the guns gonne get me for sure . Dear god I pray why

won't you be my friend , come to me and take my hand ,like

mama would say everything will be ok.

Now he is not rather a shy singer and performer , the lyrical

songs make him mature ,and now he is a man or not a boy .

He is a real super star with many fans ,the improve mark a

big step forward confident .

i have a dream that one day every vally shall be exalted, every

hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be

made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and

the glory of the lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall e it

together. wow, what a dream it has been for martin luther king.

but the changing world ems telling me that people gradually

get their

dreams lost somehow in the process of growing up, and

sometimes i personally find mylf saying goodbye

unconsciously to tho distant childhood dreams.

however, we need dreams. they nourish our spirit; they

reprent possibility even when we are dragged down by reality.

they keep us going. most successful people are dreamers as well

as ordinary people who are not afraid to think big and dare to be

great. when we were little kids, we all dreamed of doing

something big and splashy, something significant. now what we

need to do is to maintain them, refresh them and turn them into

reality. however, the toughest part is that we often have no ideas

how to translate the dreams into actions. well, just start with

concrete objectives and stick to it. don‘t let the nameless fear

confu the eye and confound our strong belief of future.

through our talents, through our wits, through our endurance

and through our creativity, we will make it.

hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged

bird that cannot fly. hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life

is a barren field frozen with snow. so my dear friends, think of

your old and maybe dead dreams. whatever it is, pick it up and

make it alive from today.

Let me begin my speech with a replay of scenes familiar to

most, if not all, of tho prent here today.

take. take. take.. The relationship between a mother and a

child always ems to follow such a pattern. I know my mother is

always there for me, providing me with everything I need; from

food to clothing, from tuition to pocket money. I never thought

twice about all she did until one day she said,

Like a child endlessly asking, we humans, throughout history,

have been continually demanding what we desire from nature.

We enjoy the comfort and beauty of our furniture, yet we never

bother to think about the rious soil erosion caud by

deforestation. We take it for granted that we must warm

ourlves in winter times, yet we ldom realize the burning away

of precious natural appreciate all the prosperity

from the development of modern industry, yet few would give

the slightest consideration to the global air and water pollution

caud by industrial wastes. Our ruthless exploitation has

permanently impaired our mother we tragically learned

from last summer's floods. We cannot continue our carelessness.

Finally, standing here at the threshold of the 21st century, we

cannot help thinking of our posterity. Nature is not only the

mother of the prent generation, but

also the mother of the generations to come. How verely

our descendents will criticize us if we leave them a barren and

lifeless mother? How much more they will appreciate us if we give

them a world of harmony to inherit? Let us start respecting and

caring for nature from now on. Let us start the campaign of

creating a mutually beneficial relationship between people and

nature right from this moment. With this new start, I firmly

believe that our children, and our children's children will live in a

brand new age of green trees, clean air, crystal water, blue sky

and an even more promising world!

Someone said “we are reading the first ver of the first

chapter of a book, who pages are infinite”. I don’t know who

wrote the words, but I’ve always liked them as a reminder that

the future can be anything we want it to be. We are all in the

position of the farmers. If we plant a good ed ,we reap a good

harvest. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.

We are young. “How to spend the youth?” It is a

meaningful question. To answer it, first I have to ask “what do

you understand by the word youth?” Youth is not a time of life,

it’s a state of mind. It’s not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips or

supple knees. It’s the matter of the will. It’s the freshneof the

deep spring of life.

A poet said “To e a world in a grain of sand, and a heaven

in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and

eternity in an hour. Several days ago, I had a chance to listen to a

lecture. I learnt a lot there. I’d like to share it with all of you.

Let’s show our right palms. We can e three lines that show

how our and life is. I have a short line of life.

What about yours? I wondered whether we could e our

future in this way. Well, let’s make a fist. Where is our future?

Where is our love, career, and life? Tell , it is in our

hands. It is held in ourlves.

We all want the future to be better than the past. But the

future can go better itlf. Don’t cry becau it is over, smile

becau it happened. From the past, we’ve learnt that the life is

tough, but we are tougher. We’ve learnt that we can’t choo

how we feel, but we can choo what about it. Failure doesn’t

mean you don’t have it, it does mean you should do it in a

different way. Failure doesn’t mean you should give up, it does

mean you must try harder.

As what I said at the beginning, “we are reading the first

ver of the first chapter of a book, who pages are infinite”.

The past has gone. Nothing we do will change it. But the future

is in front of us. Believe that what we give to the world, the world

will give to us. And from today on, let’s be the owners of

ourlves, and speak out “We are the world, we are the future.”
