Yantai,—the—Snow—Den,—Intoxicated—by—the—Beauty—of—Snow“雪窝”烟台 醉美雪情文/仙辑烟台市地处山东半岛东部，每到冬流降雪"。季都有大雪降临，俗称"雪窝子"。烟台烟台处在胶东半岛丘陵北侧，西北北临渤海和黄海，冬季海面气温高于内陆风吹来时，近海面的暖湿空气沿丘陵爬升，气温，形成一个比较稳定的暖区，当北方对降雪起增幅作用，因此冷流降雪以北部冷空气南下到达海面时，暖湿空气向上移海岸为多，烟台"雪窝子"由此而得名。动，升至一定高度时与冷空气结合，凝结又到一年冰雪季，“雪窝”模式开启，成冰晶，最终形成降雪，气象上称为"冷烟台变成了银装素裹的仙境……Situated in the east of Shandong Peninsula, Yantai is commonly called the “Snow Den” becau

big snow falls here every winter. Bordering the Bohai Sea and the Yellow Sea in the north,

the winter a surface temperature in Yantai is higher than the inland air temperature, shaping a

relatively stable warm zone. When the cold air from the north to the south reaches the a surface,

the warm moist air moves upward and joins the cold air at a certain height, condend into ice

crystal and finally resulting into the snow fall. Meteorologically, it is called “cold airflow snow.”

As Yantai is located in the north of the hilly area of Jiaodong Peninsula, the northwestern

wind blow will cau the offshore warm moist air to ascend along the hills and increa the

snowfall. Conquently, the cold airflow snow often takes place in the northern coast, and Yantai is

called the “Snow Den” for this a ason of ice and snow comes. The mode of the “Snow Den” opens and Yantai becomes

a silver-coated fairyland…
