1、When a consumer finds that an item he bought is faulty or does not live up to the
manufacturer’s claim for it, the first step is to prent the warranty(保单), or any other helpful
records at the store of purcha. If this action does not work, there are various means that may

A simple and common method is to complain directly to the store manager. Generally, the

consumer should do this, stating the complaint as politely and as firmly as possible. But if a
polite complaint does not achieve the desired result, the consumer can go a step further. He can
threaten to take the ller to court or report the ller to a private or public organization
responsible for protecting the consumers’ rights.

2、Becau differences among social class in the United States are not considered important,

The person you address will probably realize that you are not sure of the proper title to u and
will help you by telling you the correct term. However, unless you are in a special occupation, you
will not find formal title ud very often in the United States. A friendly, informal relationship is
more important to Americans than is either rank or title. Americans believe that they can still show
great respect for a person even if he is called only by his first name.
