摘要：PURPOSE:To change key attributes, to form many functions without expanding a system and to improve operability by previously storing the attributes of keys, and at the time of starting the system, determining the functions of respective keys in accordance with the key attributes. CONSTITUTION:A system program and key attributes or the like of a keyboard 6 connected to a terminal body 1 are previously stored in a body side storing part 4 and the keyboard 6 is constituted of a control part 6a for controlling the transmission/reception of information to/from a body side control part 2 and a RAM 6b. At the time of starting the system, a key attribute file in the storing part 4 is read out by the control part 2 and stored in the RAM 6b as an attribute table. Conquently, the keyboard 6 has key information corresponding to respective key numbers to attain work processing. Since the attributes of respective keys can be automatically converted in accordance with screen defining information or field defining information, operator's shift key operation can be omitted.
